The North Carolina Housing Finance Agency (NCHFA) helps local governments, nonprofit organizations, and private owners develop affordable homes and apartments. In addition, we provide interest-free loans to finance transitional and permanent housing for persons with special needs. Our support translates into affordable and accessible housing for you and your family.

Renters

Finance Agency. These privately owned apartments are affordable for households earning 60 percent or less of the median income in their area.
