Partnering with Nonprofit and Local Government Agencies

You may be able to broaden your market by partnering with certain agencies to develop affordable housing for North Carolinians. By providing deferred mortgages to qualified home buyers, our New Homes Loan Pool can help make affordable housing developments successful.

The New Homes Loan Pool is available to nonprofit and government organizations that develop affordable homes, select and prepare home buyers, and coordinate financing assistance for buyers.

The homes funded by the program must be located in:

• new subdivisions;
• scattered rural sites;
• comprehensive neighborhood revitalization strategy areas; or
• strategic in-fill developments
