We offer 90- and 150-day lock-in periods for our FirstHome Mortgage. With these lock-in periods, your buyers will have the security of knowing that market fluctuations will not affect their buying power during the time their homes are being completed.
There are no additional lock-in fees for builders for the 150-day period, but the interest rate on the loans will be .25% above our 90-day lock period.

Lenders who qualify for our QuickClose process may close loans without prior approval from the North Carolina Housing Finance Agency.
If your buyer is working with one of these lenders, the loan process will go more quickly than it otherwise might.
