Advanced Compliance training is a more in-depth look at tax credits as well as other Agency programs. We focus on how to comply with advanced program requirements such as the 140% rule, the Next Available Unit rule and Low/High HOME rent rules. We address Agency reporting requirements to comply and manage a property financed with Agency funds under the LIHTC Program, the HOME Program, Housing Trust Fund, and PLP funds, (rent increase request process; reserve account requirements; how programs fit). We will not discuss eligibility requirements, tenant files or physical inspections during this session. This information is covered in Compliance 101. Advanced Compliance is designed primarily for compliance staff, regional managers and owners. This class satisfies QAP training requirements.
