Advanced Compliance is designed primarily for compliance staff, regional managers and owners. This class satisfies QAP training requirements. Advanced Compliance training is a more in-depth look at tax credits as well as other Agency programs. We focus on how to comply with advanced program requirements such as the 140% rule, the Next Available Unit rule and Low/High Home rent rules. We address Agency reporting requirements to comply and manage a property financed with Agency funds under the LIHTC Program, the HOME Program, Housing Trust Fund, and PLP funds, (rent increase request process; reserve account requirements; how programs fit). We will not discuss eligibility requirements, tenant files or physical inspections during this session. This information is covered in Compliance 101.
