On February 8, a ground breaking ceremony was held for the Family Care Center in Hickory. This supportive housing development program will provide 16 units of housing under the Agency's Supportive Housing Development Program. The project will include the development of two new buildings to be added to the existing property and is being developed by the Family Care Center of Catawba Valley.

Speaking at the event was Representative Jay Adams.
