A ribbon cutting ceremony was held for the Doris Spangler Dedmon Abuse Prevention Center on February 19. In attendance was Representative Kelly Hastings along with Doris Spangler Dedmon, whom the building is named after. This is the third supportive housing development financed by the Housing Trust Fund in the City of Shelby. Speaking on behalf of the agency was Gwen Belcredi.
