Income Limits

The household size income limit is an important factor in determining a property’s compliance with state and federal regulations. This page has links to the necessary charts for you to determine your property’s compliance with the programs we monitor.

Low-Income Housing Tax Credit

The 2009 Income & Rent limits are posted below.  Please read the memo to see which chart applies to your property.  Each county is listed, along with each set-aside calculated for the county.   You can print the page with the county your property is located in, and highlight the set-asides which apply to your property.  These limits are effective March 19, 2009.

Supportive Housing Development Program

Housing funded under the Supportive Housing Development Program must serve individuals and families who earn below 50% of area median income. Rents and utilities cannot exceed 30% of gross household income for residents.

Tenant-Based Rental Assistance (TBRA)

TBRA is not currently funded.

       For Your First Home:

5.125%

for a 30-year, fixed-rate mortgage (90-day lock in) without NCHFA downpayment assistance.
