What We Offer
The North Carolina Housing Finance Agency works with nearly 700 lenders and their branches across the state to provide below-market mortgages to first-time home buyers and buyers who haven’t owned a home in the last three years. We offer below-market interest rate mortgages by selling tax-exempt Mortgage Revenue Bonds (MRB) to investors. We also offer downpayment assistance to qualified buyers.
