Executive Director A. Robert Kucab Receives Order of the Long Leaf Pine

A. Robert Kucab, executive director of the North Carolina Housing Finance Agency, was honored with the Order of the Long Leaf Pine on Oct. 12, 2016 during the Housing North Carolina Awards luncheon at the North Carolina Affordable Housing Conference in Raleigh. Presenting the award was Board Chair Stancil Barnes, who made remarks on behalf of the board of directors.

The Order of the Long Leaf Fine is awarded for exemplary service to the State of North Carolina and the community, that is above and beyond the call of duty. This award is granted to citizens who stand out in their communities and who have devoted their lives to serving others. Their efforts will have made a significant impact and strengthened North Carolina. A limited number of these awards are granted each year.
