The Lofts at Southside Dedicates Phase I and Celebrates Groundbreaking of Phase II on June 9

The Lofts at Southside in Durham celebrated two milestones on Thursday, June 9—the official dedication of Phase I and the groundbreaking of Phase II. Durham Mayor Bell headlined the event with a keynote speech that highlighted the Southside area's rich cultural history as well as how the City of Durham is being revitalized one step at a time with unique public and private partnerships like The Lofts and others like Veranda at Whitted School. 

Phase I of The Lofts consists of 12 buildings with 119 units, while Phase II will feature 12 buildings with 85 units once completed. Present at the event were Daniel Jordan, Executive Director Bob Kucab, Board Members Joe Parker and Gene Davis who spoke on behalf of the Agency. Congratulations!
