A ribbon cutting ceremony was held on December 8, 2017 to celebrate the opening of River Pointe apartments in Shallotte. River Pointe is a new community of 62 affordable apartment homes for working families. In attendance was Billy Barker, staffer for the office of Representative David Rouzer.
