The Mortgage Credit Certificate (MCC) is a great tool to help make home ownership affordable for you. The MCC allows eligible buyers to take a federal tax credit of 30% of the mortgage paid annually, which means more money in your pocket to help you afford your mortgage! In all, the MCC can help you save up to $2,000 each year that you occupy your new home.
